Non sum qualis eram?

I am Desenova, and I am a writer among a multitude of other things. Desenova is an alter ego: an outlet, an escape, a means of expression for me. I, as Desenova, have been building a portfolio of tales, stories, yarns, epics, sagas, poetry, and narratives, from the gross to the sublime for over twenty years, yet it has only been in the last five that the idea of being a serious writer has taken root; the idea that I have something worth sharing. Nascent Epilogues is not only a name for my art, but a philosophy of creation, that everything is an epilogue waiting to be discovered.

Having been raised on a healthy diet of science fiction and horror, they have become the primary creative wells from which my inspirations are drawn from, yet it is the pining for the unknown that has instilled in me this need to search for new and creative ways to express not only myself but the stories I write because, in the end, that is all that matters: genre itself becomes subjective. A good tale transcends genre and even time itself, becoming immortal and eternal, like the deities of myth.

I currently reside in the heart of the Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon.
